  1. it depends. if i see some parents and one of them come back with a child, i assume that they had to go to the bathroom and i can understand that.  other than that, if you want to go on a ride, you should just stand in line.

  2. Most, If not all parks have a strict band regarding "line jumping" you should refer to your parks rules and see their rules on this issue. I do understand its your family, but just stay in line to avoid conflict.

  3. It is aggravating when I have been waiting 45 minutes to an hour and someone (especially a grown adult) shoves past me to meet their group that is way ahead of me. Many people (and parks) consider that line jumping, and I am one of the people who isn't afraid to say something.

No adult should have a hard time grasping the concept of eating and using the restroom BEFORE getting in line.

  4. I definitely do. Because before the family goes on the ride, they should ask their kids if they have to go to the bathroom BEFORE, not IN LINE.

But if it's little kids, I understand. My family and I hardly line-cut.

    Do you get aggravated?

  5. I dont mind that much but sometimes when you've been waiting for a really long time it gets annoying

  6. I only get aggravated about that in the states where it's illegal to line jump, i.e. Ohio.

  7. Like viper said, it depends on the situation and the person...

But it technically is considered line-cutting, which is not permitted in the Disneyland Parks. If another guest is annoyed enough to complain to one of the cast members, security will have a little discussion with about the rules of the park (and you will be removed from the line).

If security has to speak with you further (or a scene is created), you will be removed from the park.

  8. Actually, the rule of thumb is half your people must be in line at all times.  Ask a cast member working Nemo and this is the exact answer they give you.

I checked with my fiance. Just recently and he said that the rule is at least half of your group must be in line.  People dont like it as I can see that somebody voted this as a bad answer, but that is the disneyland rule. as cast members we cant say anything as long as half of their group or more was already in line. It has caused problems before but we cant kick them out of line if they follow this rule.  If however it is 1 person holding the place for like 5, then they either ride on their own or go back to the end of the line with the rest of their family.

Oh and by the way, wait time utilizations studies make it so that we can estimate the wait time taking in consideration any factors such as the saving spots, so people catching up with their family is not making the wait longer then the posted time, that has already been considered.
