Do u need a canadian passsport??

im jw if u need a canadian passport to fly out of the country or can u just hav all of ur I.D. birth certicate etc.

  1. if you are flying you must have a passport


  2. Everyone needs a passport for international travel.  

  3. You don't need one to leave the country just to get into another one.  I don't know if there are any countries that will let Canadians enter without one.

  4. If you are a Canadian citizen or a citizen of the United States, you do not need a passport to enter Canada; however, you should carry proof of your citizenship such as a birth certificate, certificate of citizenship or naturalization or a Certificate of Indian Status, as well as a photo ID.

    Passport requirements to enter the other country will depend on that country's laws.

  5. if you are flying out of Canada to another country, and not just from one Canadian city to another, then yes you do indeed need a passport.  Entry into, for example, the U.S. from Canada by LAND currently does not need a passport (this changes June, 2009), but FLYING into a U.S. city is a different story.
