you can get mobile broadband from T Mobile vodafone orange if you are a customer, you get a little usb adaptor to plug in to your laptop or PC

no you dont need a phone line but you can but when you have your internet through your phone and then when you are on the internet no one can get throuhgh i dont think.

you dont even need a lanline for DSL....all you need is a dry (naked) DSL line!

You need a phone line, but not an "active" phone line.

When you order DSL Internet on a phone line that does not have active telephone service, it is called "Dry Loop" or "Naked DSL" Internet service.

Talk to your local service providers and ask them about Dry Loop DSL service.

Only with DSL. Cable and Fios dont require phone lines.
