Do u need fom tires to race rc cars on a carpet track?

rc car racing i want to start but don t know what i need on my care to carpet race

I use rubber and don't have a problem with it .

It depends on where you race. Most use foam but some do use rubber tires.

Best thing to do is go to the track you are planning on racing at, the other drivers will assist you when you are starting out. They will even give you some of their used tires so you can get a feel as to what compound tires you will need to run.

I used foam, i raced a yokomo and loved it........... foam when preped right hooks up like velcro lol rubber works good to when preped but i perfered foam.... biggest thing is batts. and setup lol
