its important to get good grades b/c education is essential to being successful. knowledge is power. but good grades and fighting well aren't connected unless maybe your school has boxing as a sport, and if that's the case you should be asking them.

it is probably not a good idea to get good grades if you wanna be a female boxer... good grades don't help your street cred....

That plus Christy Martin and Laila Ali if you combine their IQs the result would still not be very impressive.
