  1. The only nails required are when you replace the molding on the wall.  You don't want to nail it down as it needs to be floating so it can expand and contract.

  2. It all depends on the type of floor you are putting down. I recently put some laminate down in my house and used no nails or glue. I just laid a moisture barrier "rosin paper", and laid the floor on top fo the barrier. They look great. Very good investment.

  3. Laminate wood flooring don't required any nailing. they are tough and grove that inter lock with each other.

  4. I don't think so

  5. They actually now have wood flooring at your local lowes or home depot that can snap in and doesn't require nails! It's called dual locking click system.

  6. no....that's the beauty of it...and the attraction away from wood flooring for most people. Put the barrier down, snap it together!....but, if you have to saw pieces, for heavens sake dont breathe the dust...it is NASTY! not to mention not too good for you!

  7. I would recommend putting a few nails on the panels at the edges and a few in the middle. put nails in any place you will put something over to that they are not visible
