Do u prefer tea bags or tea leafs in a pot?

i prefer tea bags to loose leaf tea...But did you know the tea bag is 100yrs old this year and was invented by mistake. An American tried selling tea instead of coffee and sent "samples" to customers in little silk bags but people didn't know they had to cut open the bag and take the tea out and put it in hot water. And people thought this was a great idea and of course the rest is history.

I didn't think there was a difference, but there is.

I prefer tea leaves.

for flavor and quality: tea leaves work very well in a pot when combined with a strainer, preferably a mesh ball strainer with a handle. this allows for maximum infusion.

for easiness: tea bags, hands down. it's not as messy and saves some time. plus you don't have to clean the strainers out afterwards, like you would have to with loose tea.

i say, tea leaves!
