Do u really need a degree or certificate to be a dance teacher?

Dancing has been my passion and to dream one day i could teach dance but the problem is i want to teach dance now and not have to go through getting any cert or degree. Id love to teach hip hop/ dance to techno(raving) or even dance-exercise. And i do feel like i cando it. Any ideas?

to teach any kinda dance you should have a BA of BFA in one of the following:

dance

dance pedagogy

dance composition (aka choreography)

If you live in a really big city I suggest you do get a degree, unless you can work as an intern at your local studio.
