My flight's at 9.30 p.m from Heathrow and my coach will arrive just before 6.00 p.m, do u think i've allowed enough time for checking in and stuff? i'm also a little worried about traffic around that time ( i normally arrived much earlier becuz the last coach b4 it'd get me there by 1p.m but i've found that it's really frustrating to wait around at the airport) I'll be coming from Southampton by the way.

  1. Hmmmm...I'd rather catch the earlier one just to be on the safe side. Traffic around Heathrow is notoriously bad, and most international carriers advise arriving at least three hours prior to flight boarding. I doubt you'll be short of things to do in your spare time and you'll appreciate being less stressed.

  2. Hi,

you only really need 2 hours to check in and thats being safe. you really dont need all that time, its just a precaution.

I went from east midlands to prague and total check in time was about 20 minutes.

Chances are, that because its a domestic (UK to UK) flight, youll need less. Dont worry you should be fine!

  3. The time you allotted for yourself is perfect.  Just a little early on the safer side.  Keep in mind that you don't have control of the traffic.  It feels better to not be rushing and taking your time rather than be paranoid about checking in.
