  1. Females in any branch of service do not get put in direct combat roles so No you would not be able to get into a infantry unit.

  2. Can i also add, I to believe that woman should be allowed to serve in Infantry.

Woman already have roles which put them in line with the enemy. I mean what about those woman marines who worked the check point, only to have a suicide bomber blow himself up. I mean if they have to deal with that crude, they should be allowed infantry.

  3. No they do not get an infantry MOS, they get a support roll, like Motor T or Supply and that's why some of them died, being caught in a convoy and such!

  4. People die because there are no typical "Front lines" like you see in movies. Being deployed in itself is a front line.. you aren't safe anywhere Infantry or not. IED's, mortars etc...

  5. We have support rolls but can end up in combat (like MP's or Supply)... which is why I think that the "no women in Infantry" rule should just be overturned because we're dieing over there too

  6. Just because you're not infantry doesn't mean you can't die. That's why all troops are supported in my eyes. Every single US military enlistee can die in war, if deployed.
