Do u see me becoming an actor?

Here is my picture. I'm 16 years old and my dream is to act. I love entertaining people at any age. I live in a small town near Lake Erie that consists of around 4,000 people. maybe more. I'm not very popular and some people consider me the weird type....

I dont care where i start but now its just The School Drama Club...I have been in two school plays so far and i know that is not much. I have also joined the CAPERS in my town which is a community theater, but it is not really what i am interested in.

I am a member of the Thespian Society if that really means anything. I took choir in school but no personal training what so ever. I sing outloud to myself pretty much everyday, but im not much of the dancing type.

Well there is most of my "acting starts"..... now i need to know what else i need to do to forfill my dream.

I'm not trying to be picky about this so i need your help, tell me what else i need to accoplish!!!

If you live in Ohio, anywhere near Lakewood then Beck Center of the arts is a good place to take classes. I know people who have been taking classes there for years, and I'm starting up next season.

Okay so I was in the entertainment industry for acting quit a while. I knew some people who taught me so much more about this industry and I regret to have listened to them earlier. The earlier you get involved the earlier & higher chances you will succeed. Now what you're doing is truely productive but you need to take it to the next step. Deffinetly you should get head shots and send them out to agents. You have a commercial look so I'm sure they'd give you a call in. By gaining an agent you're gaining a bigger resume because they'll send you out for more auditions. That way when you get the job you only go higher from there. That's basically all I can tell you since the rest you need to be on your own. You'd most likely also be required to take more acting classes as continuing. The acting industry is completely brutal. Like there's so many people I'd like to go punch in the face hahaha. But just dont give up & you'll be set! Life's to short, enjoy it and just follow your dreams!=)
