  1. yes, you may claim it.  Getting paid for it is another story.  Whip lash is a common complaint and insurance company's are very careful with such claims

  2. If you are asking if you can get compensated for injuries for an accident that you caused, the answer is no.

If you have medical payments coverage on you policy, it will cover the bills only. No pain and suffering.

  3. No, you don't profit on things you do to yourself.  Not to mention that the hit car would be pushed suddenly forward, causing the driver's neck to go back and possibly causing whip lash.  You, as the driver doing the hitting would, if anything, go forward upon hitting the other car, which would not by any stretch of the imagination cause whip lash.

  4. If you are a passenger of the driver at fault then YES , BUT if it was your fault then I do not think so, you would have to check with an attorney on that one, although some Ins. Co. will pay like the fist $5000 of a medical injury, if you have the Med. Ins. on your policy!!! So double check your policy and with a good attorney!

  5. I don't know for sure but I highly doubt it. If you go into the back of someone then the accident is your fault unless it was mechanical failure.

  6. I don't know what "your fully comp" means, but if YOU caused the accident, no one is going to pay you for pain and suffering.

And usually, when you rear end someone, it's YOUR fault.

  7. No. Rear-Endings are almost always the rear enders fault. And unless the other person came directly out in front of you and stopped to get the money, you have almost no ground to get the insurance money from the accident. Even if it's a complete accident, youl'd be the one to blame.

Your health insurance may cover it, but I don't know much on that topic.

  8. No,  why would you be paid for "pain and suffering", if you were at fault for an accident.  If that was the case, people would be crashing into trees, walls etc. just to make a buck.

If you live in a No-Fault state and you have PIP coverage, your medical expenses will be paid under your own coverage.

Having full coverage means you have liability, comprehensive and collision coverage.
