  1. ACT and SAT are taken during your junior year.  If you are going to a more prestigious school/program, you may need to take the SAT II during your senior year.  I would take them early enough to retake if you're not happy with your score.

  2. I took the SAT late in my sophomore year, just because I wanted to gauge how well I was able to do on the test.  I did it kind of as practice.  Then the beginning of my junior year I took the SAT again to improve my score.

The SAT subject tests I took I think in the middle or towards the end of my junior year.

  3. juniorrrrrr      =]]

  4. i took only the ACT junior year

the SAT didnt seem as important to me

  5. Usually in your junior year, before you start applying to colleges, but not so early that you haven't had all of the subject matters from which it draws.

  6. I took SAT and ACT in my junior and senior year.

  7. Junior year is typical

I took one SAT II at the end of sophomore year though.

  8. well that depends, i took the SAT, ACT, and subject tests all at the end of my junior year, but you can take them anytime throughout highschool
