  1. A woman is fine...great....THIS woman is crazy and her stance on the issues is far more conservative than Bush....she believes abortion should NEVER happen...even if the life of the mother is at risk. She is under investigation by the Alaskan legislature.

  2. we'll find out 11/4

  3. President McCain has made a smart choice by giving women a voice at one of the highest levels of office in a male-dominated arena. Women should be proud!

  4. most definitely a great choice.

  5. I think McCain made the best choice...for Obama. It pretty much seals the deal for Obama winning in Nov. He chose Gov. Palin with little or no vetting. The media has had only two days to dig into her background and already they've got stories of investigative probes and babies that may or may not be hers. And she's gonna have to explain why it is she thinks she's ready to be VP when she admits she doesn't know what a VP does. Also the Republicans can't complain anymore about Obama's experience with her a "heart beat away" from the presidency.

I think they were vying for Hillary supporters with this nomination but most are just insulted by the ploy.

  6. He picked her because she's a strong conservative. The fact she's female and may draw in women voters is only a plus.

  7. In my opinion, the fact that she happens to be a woman is really irrelevant.  Let's look at McCain's strengths.  He has a lot of experience in Washington.  He has served in the military.  He has be able to work with those across the aisle (even Obama and Biden like him on a personal level).  What are McCain's weaknesses?  He is too old, not conservative enough, and does not represent change.  Palin complements McCain very well.  While she does not have a lot of experience, she is young, more conservative, about as far from Washington as one can get, and does represent someone who has stood for change in her state.  The fact that she is a woman is an added bonus, not the real reason for the selection.

The same can be said about Obama's choice of Biden.  Obama lacks experience, Biden has it.  Biden is old, Obama is not.  Biden is a Washington insider, Obama is not.  Obama and Biden are good complements and McCain and Palin are also good complements.

    EDIT

If you are talking experience, something that neither Palin nor Obama have, a heart-beat away from the Presidency is a whole lot different than being the President.

  8. Yes, I think he made a very bad choice, and I think he made this choice for the wrong reasons, which is a disgrace to the Women of the United States. He chose her, to try to win the Women Voters over, from Hillary to her. Which I dont believe will work. The fact he thinks it will work, is very disrespectful, to us, as american women. It shows he has no respect, or thinks women are very shallow, that we will vote for him now, just because he has a woman for his Vice President.

She more or less, I feel is being used by McCain.

I will not vote for McCain, I wasnt going to anyway. But i have talked to several people that were going to vote for him, but after finding out, how crooked he is, and that he is using a women to try to get in, they are turning to obama.

Us, women have a voice, in America. And this woman is not even close to being like Hillary.

I vote OBAMA, all the way!

  9. he made  the smart choice to bad too cause im for obama

  10. No...

    Yes to a woman.

    Not to this one.

Not for the excuses he gave.

Not with her extremist ideas, postmodernist reality-bashing and lack of competence, experience and honesty.

It's Harriet Meirs all over again--somebody with bad ideas and a slender record.

And just watch the Republican neocons rush to defend her choice and give fake reason we should all accept her as a wise choice.

    No.

  11. Not at all, I think it was smart. All the talk Friday was supposed to be about Obama. Well that changed quickly didn't it? That woman will surprise a lot of people. Especially Democrats!

  12. Its all about judgment...AND HE HAS NON

  13. He was a man for having a woman by his side but he should have chosen a women like  Hilary Clinton  with a experience and a background I think this is going to backfire on him
