  1. Most likely, you wouldn't have lived to whatever age you are now.

No, they didn't have it easier.

"Go out and chase the food" is putting it mildly. They have to find or make EVERYTHING, including every thing they wore, everydwelling they lived in, every tool they used.

Things that people now routinely survive killed most people then.

And your chances of being killed by another human were massively greater then.

Nope, I'll take now, when I have a previously unimaginable variety of food always available to me, a comfy place to live, and a computer on which I can play games, read, communicate with others, and watch lectures by Dan Dennett on YouTube.

  2. me - sounds a lot simpler than todays world.

  3. i would be interested in going back in a time machine to neolithic & bronze age Britain (to see Stonehenge built!) and also to medieval England at the time of Lionheart & Prince John. However, I wouldn't want to LIVE in those time, just visit! (In the stone age life span averaged about 30/35 and often less for women;badly healed broken bones, rickets, possibly fatal tooth absesses, arthritis were all common.

  4. to be honest i think it would be alot more cool hunting your own food instead of going the supermarket.

  5. LOL oh yeah definitly, they had simpler lives. I would like to go to the 80's, i was born then and didnt really experience it properly, and the 40's because i really like their classy clothes, like stockings and heels and cigerette in hand and the men were still gentlemen, and go to Eygpt to see how they built the pyramids

  6. I think the best time would have been in the US in the mid-1800s.  There was enough technology to allow people to live comfortably but a person who wanted to avoid people could go to areas where they could be alone for months at a time.  There were fewer government regulations and some areas had no government (law) at all.  A person was able to make there life what they wanted it to be.

  7. sorry i will stay here in the modern days ,back in cave men days u had to put up with living in a drafty cave, have to fight dinosaurs ,oh yes and the women always had to fight off the men

  8. I am sitting here in an air-conditioned room.  I think I'll stay.

  9. I agree with that actually, I was watching somethinga bout rainforest tribles last night and they were saying how they don't want to have to wear clothes and use money to buy things when everything they need is in the rainforest - and I completely agree!  I wish I could live in a tribe a thousand years ago!
