Do u think all Asians r like this or is it just my observations?

Question

I come 4m a very mixed background.I hardly interact with people but when I do I feel that Asians(Arabs or others) are very complicated with in i.e:He did this, she didn't do this, why should I do this, who's he to tell me ...... & on &on. Even the things that doesn't need to be bothered about people tend to make stories out of them.At times I get really annoyed & tell my self why can't we have a simple life, be good to others from their hearts & stop poking their nose?I find other cultures r not as tangled as us, Am I rite or is this the reality?

Good observation. people in the East look for more community and family approval for what they are doing than people in western Europe. In the west the idea of nuclear family and individual rights is far more developed. In the west people dont look for as much approval from others. This allows people the right to experiment, make mistakes and learn from failures. In this way, sometimes individuals find better and more efficent solutions than what were known by society and the community at large. This model allows West to excel in mathematics, science and general knowledge of the world.  In the East people experience less failure but also fewer new solutions. As such fewer new discoveries in the field of mathematics, science etc too.

It's not just Asians, it's pretty much human nature. Why is it that you don't find other cultures as tangled? Well, it's your family and you know their complications and entanglements best. And sometimes, you are your own harshest critic.

your observations are right...back home people have to just have to know whats going on in your life and house ..

and then they talk about it and entertain other people around them...and especially older women, they are the ones that tend to enjoy this more often

I know what you mean. My mum use to love to tell her friends about my whole life. Most of those stuff were really personal to me as well.

Oh yeah! I'm fully Asian. And coming to Britain my parents didn't become even one bit Western. So annoying!

I think that all ladies from any culture are like that though, My mom works with English ladies at a nursery, and she tells me about how they spend all the day backbiting.

I dont think its exactly asians. All human's are like this at some point or another. You just need to forget about them and let it go. We just ignore the people who make a fuss out of things like this and try to not interfere with them so much.
