Do u think an 8th grader can be on facebook??

i really want a face book cuz all my friends from high skool r up there and i wonna keep in contact with them and i think its a lil better than myspace ....i have that too...soo give me ur opinion

It's fine to get one. Just say you go to the high school that you will eventually go to. Also, change your birthday a couple years back, so you're 14 or older on there.

They can't get you in trouble. I know people who are 8 and have it. Join, you'll be fine. You'll just appear older. Your not deceiving facebook, they just put the age in there so they don't have young people get damaged.

You can always put in fake birthday .....if you are born in 1995 just put 1994 or 1993.It's easy and facebook is so much better than myspace!!!!

You can join if you give a fake birthday. Everyone does that. Not that it's the right thing to do, but yeah - I think it is more safe than myspace.

Well, I'm not going to say you're too young, but Facebook is specifically a High School/College/Out Of College thing. It has nothing to do with you being too young that it's dangerous, it's just that you're too young that it's not right. Wait until you get into high school like most everyone else did. And yes, it is better than Myspace, but it won't be for long if all ages start joining. It's truly a site for SCHOOL.

im british, so i dont know what an 8th grader is, so im guessing its the same as Year 8, so that means your are 13. I would say yes, but please dont put out any personal information. I know youve heard it before, but you really must be safe. only accept frinds you know, not just random people and in the About Me section, just write: If you know me, you know me. Please be careful

your in eighth grade and all your friends from HIGH SCHOOL are on there?? this should be the first problem.. what are you doing hanging out with such older kids? if you already have a myspace, what's another internet profile gonna hurt, i guess...
