  1. Hmm,

If you very responsible with one or any pet then I would let you get one just dont "accidentally forget to feed it"

It should make a great pet and a nice addition to your home unless you live in like the richest part of the city then it would just look weird...........

  2. From your previous questions I would say, that you want this animal as a toy. You want to take it around with you and show it off. I don't think your ready. But if you are getting one please read what I have posted. It is imperative that you go to these websites, and that you do not slack off.

NO to a baby, MAYBE to an adult (around 14-18 inches). You will probably get it as a baby. Maybe it will be a few days old. As a baby it can eat almost 4 dozen crickets in a single sitting. At 9 cents per cricket that is over 4 dollars a feeding. They need to be fed 3 times a day that it $12 a day x 7 days a week. It adds up. I would suggest that you buy 1000 crickets on the internet. Or maybe silkworms and hornworms, which aren't cheap.

I would suggest you get an adult. Mine eats 2-3 times a week, and he is offered collard greens daily. They need a 40 g breeder tank.

    Go to beautifuldragons.com and repticzone.com.

On the first link go to nutrition and scroll down. Feed it anything in green daily. By me collard greens cost $1.29 a pound. They are cheap and mine likes them.

They do bite, they do draw blood. 77% of all captive lizards have one of the 57 strains of salmonella. I would suggest going to the hospital after a bite. Please if you go to those websites, and don't skip out on anything you should be fine.

For a uvb bulb, get ReptiGLO 8.0 or preferably, reptISUN 10.0 (not reptasun).

  3. go for it.

    i have one.

and i love him so much.

    there very funn.

just be prapared for the expenses

they can get very pricey when you want to give them the proper care.

  4. They are very good beginner reptiles and as long as you will help you mom with the keeping of it, I say yes.  I am including 2 really good websites for you to do more research on them with. Please ask your mom for a book or two on the keeping of them, which you use a reference in case you have questions later and look them up on line as much as you can also.  But please for the health of the little guy, even a baby, DO NOT put him in a 10 gallon tank. It's too small and you could over heat the lizard very easily.  The smallest tank to start with is a 20 gallon and he would out grow it probably within a year and they will need at least a 40 gallon breeder tank when adult.  http://www.beardeddragon.org/

  5. Only if you do all the proper research and get the 250+ dollars worth of equipment before you get the lizard.

  6. If its your first reptile i would recomend a leopard gecko. bearded dragons get bigger and are a bit more tricky to get the vitamins and minerals right in their diet. However its not impossible, just harder then a leopard gecko. but other then that i would say go for it.

  7. I don't think this is a good idea.

  8. You've had like a day to think about this wait a week(at the very least i would really say a month or 2) do loads of research read some books then ask your mum if u can start buy then kit, get all the stuff u need get it all set-up monitor the temps for a week ( to make sure there right) then get a dragon

any when i say everything i mean everything there nothing u can think oh ill get that stat/uv bulb later he'll be ok with out it

RESEARCH SLEEP ON IT FOR A WHILE (I would say a month) THEN GET ALL THE KIT WAIT A WEEK WHILE U GET IT ALL SET UP THEN GET A DRAGON

ive looked through most of your reptile related questions over the last few days i will say u dont seem mature enough to get a lizard the u will have to keep for the next 2 decades

to the mother. u said if u could get people on here to say yes u would say yes. bad advice is given on here on a daily basis i would find a reptile/exotics specific forum get your son to sign up for a while let him plead his case to them see what they say (im fairly sure it will be a similar response to mine)

  9. uhuhuhmmmmmmm..... nunununununununNURD!

but fallow ur little dreams =]

  10. go for it

    XOXO

  11. Yes, they are calm, cool, and fun to play soccer with...hehe.....Just don't buy from petco/petsmart
