i have to disagree.....ipl has provided the platform for india to make other countries take notice....in a way it has shown icc that india is a major cricketing nation not to be ignored.... so participation of all countries is important especially for viewership.... just think.. an all india ipl wouldnt be much different from a ranji trophy match or a local match....

If international players were not hired then IPL would have not got the publicity or international attention as it has got now. It is a good idea as far as cricket is concerned, b'coz all the players bond together very well & play sportively. Well India has got many young & good players, but the inclusion of international players has given an extra boost to the IPL/cricket.

i think ipl is the best chance for the young cricketers as well as the worst one because some will fail in ipl though they are a good cricketers

IPL is a good way to make cricket a popular game

Media and film industry was active in a big way compared to ICL. Now many knows Gony. yusuf pathan emerged as best player.

so I think (in a way) ipl has served its purpose
