  1. Technically, yes, air can freeze given the right temperature, that is, the freezing point of the component of the air with the lowest freezing point. However, I don't think it could be called an "ice", as "ice" is frozen water, but we're talking about freezing air here. But yes, that can be done.

But...if you get air to freeze at negative a few hundred degree Celsius, I'm afraid that either you won't be around and alive to enjoy it, or if it's done in a lab, your body won't be able to take it in, literally. Imagine taking an ice cube and hold it in your mouth, till it melts completely. I think your mouth, tongue and gums would have gone all numb before it all melts. Right, and multiply that feeling by a few hundred times. Sorry, I don't think our body is built to endure that kind of thing.

    Interesting thought though.

  2. If you're watching the Olympics, you can see the air and I guess if you can see it you can eat it.  But remember the air has already been breathed by several million automobiles not to mention a billion Chinese, so it's probably pretty cheesy by now.  Um-m-m-m. Frosty Pop ......and Mom.

  3. It's called hail.

  4. no...the air has carbon and nitrogen in it...there's no way the air can just freeze

  5. When something is a gas at room temperature, it only freezes at very, very, very low temperatures. If you ate it, you would probably die.

  6. that would be cool. i would like to eat frozen ice air ;)

  7. thats deep. but how can we eat it, if air is all around us.. It will more likely smuther us and we'll be frozen to!

-I think about crazy things like this to..
