No I don't think it would. I'm not saying that girls aren't as good as guys at anything, but if me and my husband were playing football against each other, and he tackled me, he would probably kill me, break every bone in my body and put me in a coma lol. Guys are on average bigger than girls, and alot of girls would seriously get injured.

While I am all for sexual equality I don't think this would work. Women do have as much skill in football as men, but they lack the physical stamina and strength to match men. A team would be greatly handicapped if a woman was faced off against a men in the opposite attacking position, because while she could match and even surpass his skill he would quickly wear her down. Like wise if the woman was in the attack position against a man in defence she would not have the strength go beyond him, she would have to rely purely on speed for her attack and this would deplete her faster than the male defender.

trust me i have tried this at several levels and it really doesn't work. do you honestly think that if there was even the remotest possibility that this would work that some pr company wouldn't have already jumped on the bandwagon to exploit this to its full potential to make some fat cat richer.

in short no it doesnt work because and i only speak the truth the men in the teams would out play the women and they would be unemployed and you know i mean that with the greatest respect to lady footballers.

No, not a good idea.  The obvious physical and strength differences would make it very hard on the women.

I've played on a co-ed team in an indoor league, and it was actually a lot of fun.  The rules said you had to have at least 2 girls on the field at all times, (teams were 6 on 6) and if a girl scored a goal, it counted double, to encourage keeping the girls involved.  It worked great, it was really competative, and I enjoyed it a lot.

for physical reasons it wouldn't work, if a girl was playing for example left midfield the opposition would play a man at right midfield which COULD depending on the standards played make it easier for the male in strength and speed.

however im thinking it could work if the whole team were to use the same changing rooms, lol

ehhh i'm not sure.  just based on watching/playing in co-ed games i've noticed that the guys play a lot faster than girls and tend to not pass to the girls.  It could be fun but not if they were competitive soccer players.  the girls may get mad/not passed to and the guys will get frustrated.

Professionally:: it would never work. They'd be shaggin instead of playing
