my sister is 15 and she started dating this boy when she was 14 and they've been going out for almost 8 months now.

so personally i think its possible to fall in love at 14...

im 13 and i thought i was in love at one point but it turned out he wasnt the guy i thought he was..so i guess it depends on your feelings.

Not real love!Puppy love is: when you like a boy loadz, and goes NO FURTHER, maybe notes, winking, maybe holding hands, no further, next week the good thing about puppy love, you'll change how you feel about (such-such) in a week, and you have alot of puppy loves,but you'll know when REAL LOVE IS: you'll be alot older, probably out of school, and you'll meet Mr.Right, and fall in love, and get married, and that is the real love.Just have fun being 14 , these should be the happiest years of your life,you're growing up, learning about alot of things, feeling different feelings, and did I mention growing! I dont think it's necessarily likely, because the word love is often misconstrued these days...because a stupid teenager uses the word "love" when they really mean "like". They treat it as if it means nothing, like an equal to liking someone. But it is totally different, an entirely unique emotion. I am 14, and I know I am in love. I hate it when people say "you cant be in love!! You are just a kid!!" but really, how do they know? They arent the ones feeling the emotion. Why does love as a teenager have to be any different than love as an adult? And if teens are incapable of falling in love, then that must also mean we are incapable of loving family and friends. Yet we do love our family and friends. So why does falling in love have to be so different?

First off, it is NOT stupid.  The urge to procrate is a 'hard-wired' instinct in all of us, especially when yyour body changes atart  happening.  It is a very powerfulr urge, and can't be dismissed as 'stupid feelings".  As for being in love at 14, yes, it can and does happen.  The problem with trying to nail down a straight yes or no answer is that not eveyone DOES fall in love at that age (or any age really).  You'll hear hat it's only hormones (ONLY??GEEZE!), it's only 'puppy love' (and wheredid THAT expression come from?), or some other silly thing adults say when a teen falls in love.  It IS love, just as real as 'adult' love.  Sure, you can be in love at 14.  I was.

I think you can totally fall in love at the age of 14, love is love and age is not a factor for true love but there are people(at any age) who actually fall for the ideal of being in love instead of actually loving  that person(hope that wasn't confusing).
