  1. im only 13 years old and i have been going to six flags without parents for about two years now.  so i would say you should let him and his friends go.

  2. If you trust him, of course!

I go to amusement parks with friends & no parents and I'm 14.

Yes, I know it's a little different.. but let him have some fun!

Just tell him to call every now & then.

  3. Yes. I think he should be allowed to go!

    Let him haved some fun.

    =)

  4. Yes if the person is mature or has staraight forward fiends but going alone no

  5. is he mature? does he have a cell phone? maybe.

  6. Yes of course

  7. if you can trust him yes even if you think the worst most prob he might hold it against you

  8. well if you want a grandchild then i say let him "ROCK OUT WITH HIS C*** OUT!'

  9. Uh . . . yes; he's a young man; he needs some freedom - cut the umbilical cord, there, ma!

  10. The drive and park shouldn't be an issue - the hotel is the only wild card in the equation. I'd contact some of the larger chain's customer service lines to see what their under-18 policy is. If you can find a major chain that will rent a room to a 17yo, chances are they'll have one near a major attraction like Six Flags.

  11. My first thought was an immediate yes until I read about the 5 hour drive.  What kind of car will he be traveling in?  Is everyone else the same age?  Put a group of teenagers in a car together and common sense goes out the window.  I wouldn't be worried about the 6 flags part of it, or even the hotel, but I would be concerned with their safety driving (unless he's driving a tank:-)
