  1. The cycle is probably right, and it probably won't cause problems concieving.

    Good luck!

  2. A usual cycle is usually 28 days, there are sites where you can set your cycle date and it will tell you your ovulating dates. Just type in Ovulating caculator and it should lead you to some sites for you to customize your cycle and it should tell you the excate dates. Don't get dis-hearted, Keep trying, cause the only failure is giving up. Giving up on trying to concieve is like giving up on your child. And if you don't concieve within a year, go see a specialist, they can help you. I wish you all the luck and keep trying.

  3. How LATE in your cycle you ovulate does NOT matter.  You can ovulate on CD60 and be fine, as long as your period doesn't start until at least 12 days later.

Your luteal phase (time between ovulation and your next period) needs to be at least 12 days, preferably 14 days long.

You should be charting your cycle if you aren't already, so you can get to know about how long your luteal phase is.  It should stay the same every month, but your ovulation day can change.  Therefore, one month you can ovulate on CD 28 and get AF on CD40 if your LP is 12 days long, and the next month ovulate on CD32 and get AF on CD44.

Sorry if that's so confusing!  Check out http://www.fertilityfriend.com and http://www.babycenter.com.  They are both very informative.  Good luck!

  4. Hi,

If you cycles are usually 36-42 days I assume that the 42 day cycle is the longest.

If you were ovulating on day 35  then I am concerned that your period would come no later than day 42? That is not giving you time for pregnancy - your LH phase needs to be around 12 days - 16 days.

I would advise that you go and see you GP and get some blood work done. In the meantime a Fertility Monitor or cheapie ovulation tests may help with pinpointing your ovulation and exactly how long it is between ovulation and your period starting.

Best of luck and I hope it all turns out well for you.
