Do u think of kaylen as being a boy or girls name?

I love the name kaylen and always preferred it as being a male name. I know u can spell it cailen which I think is more feminine, but I prefer the spelling kaylen.

I was just wondering do u think its more of a masculine or feminine name??

Sounds like a girls name.  My husbands cousins name is Kalan (pronounced like Allen with a K)

Kaylen sounds more feminine to me but it can go both ways.

It depends on the way its spelt. I know a girl called Caelan - spelt differently but sounds the same. I also know a boy with the same name but I don't know how its spelt.

I would say either...  the name could be used as either one and i love it...  just as i used jaidyn for a girl and they usually spell it Jaden for a boy...

Kailen is the name I want for my son as its an irish name and Mikes From Belfast, but I suppose the way you spell it it could be Female but Kaitlin is the female version .

It's a girls name! My brother and SIL had a baby girl in May and her name is Kaylen. I couldn't imagine it being for a boy, no matter the spelling.
