Do u think that Hungry Ghost Festival Month is very important need to honor the wandering spirits?

Nope. Not at all. My whole family are Buddhists. I've been a Buddhist since I was little. But now I just lost interest in Buddhism. Also, I do not believe in all these hungry ghost mumbo jumbo c**p.

I mean, what's going to happen if I say "ghosts are stupid"? I'm still alive.

I don't think honor is not the right word. The wandering spirits are like homeless beings with nobody taking care of them.

Recently we have a Lama over to perform a fire puja for these spirits.

Many people do not realise that without performing the proper rites, these wandering spirits cannot receive their offerings, or it may hurt them (the ghosts) if they receive the offerings.
