i think so

he's won a lot of titles and made a name for himself even though he can still make a lot more money, i just don't like him coz i think he's WAY too cocky for his own good, but then again, aren't all famous ppl? =P

yes he should have retired his style of boxing how he blocks punches with his shoulder and elbows can get hazardous. In one of the 24/7 episodes he said his hands were very brittle and his joints in his back were hurting. The man does not want to be cripple for the rest of his life. He has to go to the doctors for like an hour twice a week because of his hands.

he has won world titles at 130, 135, 140, 147 , and 154. he has beaten fighters like Diego Corrales, Jose Luis Castillo, Arturo Gatti, Zab Judah, Carlos Baldomir, Oscar De La Hoya, and Ricky Hatton. What more does he have to prove?

Who cares, the welterweight divison will move on with out him, there are many fighters at 147

who will fight each other, instead of doing stupid rematches with old washed up guys, or fighters moving up in weight

Mayweather is good dont get me wrong but he has only fought like 2 DECENT welter weights everyone elese were , just guys moving up or old bums.

Cotto is were it is at magarito too, williams came back up and berto hit the main stream,,

If mayweather was still fighting he would have just done the same c**p over and over, rematches with people he already beat,,,,

If he ever comes back he better fight cotto or magarito,
