  1. It is ridiculously high.  We as consumers of gas must do something to send the message that gas prices must drop!!  However, I have no idea what we could do.  Most of us need gas to drive top commute to work.

  2. Yes they are, and we are really getting gouged hard on diesel fuel. Opec wants to slow down production, I say we slow down on whatever food we send them.

  3. i think inflation has just gone bizerk !!!

  4. yes I think we should nationalize oil companies and set prices to a reasonable level

  5. YES !! So hope scientist hurry invent another source of energy which can power cars......ChEAPER source of energy.

  6. When Americans start conserving, the price will drop like a rock.  You watch.

It's disheartening to listen to all the silly ideas that people have come up with that involve blaming others.  It's pitiful.  Plus, there's a chance some of these idiots may vote, and that's a danger to everybody.  It's not that prices are too high, it's that evidence of thinking in America has been really low for a long time.

The only problem with the price of gas is the American consumer.  Solve that problem and everything else will be just fine.

  7. Sadly it is too high (for people's budget).  But it seems this is what it takes for people to realize we need to change our system.  We been talking about global warming since the mid 1980's.  But only now people are seriously looking for change.

    Good Luck...

  8. Prices of bottled water are more ridiculous... it costs more per liter than gas...

  9. Definitely, and the war in Iraq is making it worse because we get some of our oil from countries in that area, which are in turmoil right now so they can't concentrate on oil production. Also, Bush has put us at an all time los, it wouldn't be so bad, but the value of a dollar is seriously depreciated and now not many people can afford gas. I say bike, that's what I do.

  10. Not only gasoline but diesel fuel prices are ridiculous. In 1965 I worked for Agway Petroleum fresh out college and we took two wks. of classes to learn about their products. They flatly stated that the cracking of diesel fuel required half as much work. Nothing is wasted as heavy gear oils and grease are made of the heavier "ends" which are left over from the production of: 50% kerosene and 50% #2 diesel fuel plus a green dye and fuel injector cleaner. Agway's diesel mix was always a 50-50 mix for better cold weather starting.

I delivered five products to costomers: 100 octane leaded gasoline @ .30 cents per gallon. Regular leaded gas @ .26.5 cents per gallon. #2 home heating oil @ .12 cents per gallon. Diesel fuel mix @ .13.6 cents per gallon. Kerosene @ .11.3 cents per gallon.

In my view today the oil companies are s******g diesel fuel users by charging 35 -60 cents more than 93 octane gasoline. I think they are doing this to help soften the real price of gasoline so that Americans will not storm Washington.

You are aware what people in South America are paying for gas it's mear frigging PENNIES.

  11. who in their right mind wouldnt know the answer to your question yea gas is to high about 2.10 to high but u watch the idiots lower it down to 3.25 a gal and we will all think were gettin a real deal.  makes me puke

  12. No, I think the price of any of the following are extremely too [redundant] high!

Diet Snapple 16 oz $1.29:     $10.32 per gallon

Lipton Ice Tea 16 oz $1.19:   $9.52 per gallon

    Gatorade 20 oz $1.59:           $10.17 per gallon

Ocean Spray 16 oz $1.25:     $10.00 per gallon

Brake Fluid 12 oz $3.15:        $33.60 per gallon

    Vick's NyQuil 6 oz $8.35:       $178.13 per gallon

Pepto Bismol 4 oz $3.85:      $123.20 per gallon

    Whiteout 7 oz $1.39:              $25.42 per gallon

    Scope 1.5 oz $0.99:              $84.48 per gallon

    Evian water 9 oz $1.49 :         $21.19 per gallon!

  13. Blame the government(s), and wars on gas.

Research alternative fuels. I just got back from a trip to Europe, and they are far surpassing the US on making way for alternative energy and fuel sources. Change starts with us.

  14. Very much so! They should make something that runs off of...idk salt water or something. But then again the government would never allow that or either we'd be charged a thousand dollars to go to the beach.

  15. A few years ago my gf got herself a Chevy Impala, even though I wanted her to get a Honda or Toyota.  I drive a Honda.  She refused, now she's paying for it both in increased gas prices and maintenance cost cause American cars are a piece of shat and gas guzzling to boot.  People need to get a life, you don't need a 4x4 cause you got 1 kid and need to take him to practice!!!

  16. yes, the prices are rediculous.

  17. I blame the general population and men with small peni (yes, that's the plural for p***s). They whine and complain, but they don't do anything themselves to bring the prices down, like sitting down inside a mall and not idling your vehicle while waiting for someone, or, if you usually drive on your own, buy a smaller car instead of that Hummer or SUV. They can whine like children all they want, but as long as they keep playing into the hands of oil companies like that to satisfy their short-term wants (not needs), gas prices will continue to go up.
