Will they make it to the playoffs?  Yes, they have Melo and A.I.  Will they get anywhere in the playoffs?  No.  They have no defense and gave Camby away from nothing.

I don't think they'll make the playoffs, especially if they don't sign JR Smith. If he's not re-signed, they have no bench.

Losing Camby gives them no good defenders, especially in the post. Melo doesn't have much leadership capacity and their playing style calls for a lack of defense.

They just made the playoffs last year. Losing Camby and possibly Smith will hurt them badly.
