Yes, they should.

If they didn't I would be very surprised.

In previous years, their team was good but it wasn't anything like it is now. I wasn't shocked that they blew it in previous years. However, with Kobe, King James, and Wade a loss would be really really bad/surprising.

The only competition would be the teams that play good "team" basketball. Like Lithuania, Spain, Brazil, Greece, and such.

This is the most talented team put out since the '92 Dream Team.  After watching the team dismantle both Greece and Spain, it seems nearly impossible that their performance could drop so severely that they would lose.  Considering they've got probably four of the top five players in the world in addition to another four or so top 15 players, it seems that USA basketball would have the depth to dominate any team even if several players had major breakdowns.

Spain has by the far the 2nd most talent in this competion. They have a future number one pick in RIcky Rubio, a great young player in Rudy Fernadez, former NBA players Garbajosa, JOse Calderon and Juan Carlos Navro an NBA all star in Pau Gasol and the U.S crushed them. I think it is safe to say that the U.S will run away from the competition if they play like they did yesterday

Fo Sho Yo. think of it this way... Spain was a medal contender and their best player is Pau Gasol. The US has 10 people better then him. There is not a chance that the US loses unless everyone on the team gets so sick that they have to forfit.
