the one we just received was used toward bills and a much needed vacation. It was our family's first, and we really enjoyed it. If we got another ($2,000) stimulus check it would go toward braces for our daughter or to pay off our credit card bill.

Considering that the government really couldn't afford this last one and all the extra cost of sending multiple notices, special hotlines, etc. to deal with all the questions, the last thing we need is another 'feel good' program that only increases the national debt.

Weeelll everyone likes money but it really isnt free since that money was borrowed and puts us as americans billions of dollars in debt every single american would technically be like 25,000 dollars in debt through the gov. not through themselves that's why our taxes are what they are. Would i spend the money.. i really would just put it in the bank and just leave it be like an emergency nest egg.. as for if i think they should well obviously my answer is no i dont think we should have another check everyone will say yes because of the fact that hey who doesnt like what they think is free money.. but it's really money the gov. doesnt have to give us.. I personally dont like the idea of putting America further in debt and yes it's our problem since we are Americans, unless you choose to give up being an american otherwise if someone does we should just putt them in a different country and leave America to those that want to better it.

In short...NO! Here's why....

Part of the Democratic controlled congresses proposal for the second economic stimulus bill's "New legislation could include: additional tax rebates, heating and air conditioning subsidies for the poor, infrastructure projects, higher food stamp payments and aid to the states."

I pay 40% of my income to taxes. If the DEMOCRATS want to stimulate the economy..let me keep my money that I WORK for. Higher food stamps payments; more for the poor!! Sounds like the Democrats are buying votes again at the expense of hard working self sufficient Americans like myself.
