  1. not at all.

  2. I don't think it is legally accepted.

If Malaysia court can accept his words, then all of the convicts in prison wants their case to be review back in court and to accept their innocent by just swearing in the name of God.

Urghh..more idiot story from Malaysian political drama.

  3. legal by law or something else??

    according Islam,is legal..

    wait&see the implication..

  4. it may be legal, but it does not guarantee that he is telling the truth...

  5. It's a total disgrace. Stupid gesture thought up by stupid people.

  6. no

  7. Legal or not, it is a very shameful thing to do....Does he not believe in himself ?   Why did he have to involve the Holy Book ?   An inam who witnessed the swearing has now come forward to say that mistakes were made, i.e. the swearing was not done according to religious rules, which, made the swearing ineffective....which implies that the swearing was an act to decieve the people....Saiful using the name of the holy book and of God in vain ?   He belongs to h**l !

  8. Can someone please enlighten me why he choose to do swear now to coincide with the by elections?

I also wonder if he showed even half as much determination would he not be able to push aside a 60 year old with a bad back trying to mount him and finish withh nary a scratch or a bruise.

I have also never figured how one party can be charged with sodomy and not the other. Surely it takes two.

How does this work? I am struggling here.

  9. Legal or not is not the case. It was his personal right.

BUT, that does not mean that he was telling the truth. The only human who knows the truth is Anwar and Saiful themselves.

Anyways, what Saiful did, was a very SERIOUS kind of a Sumpah, because it involves swearing not only on himself, but also on his family member and his whole generation. That's pretty heavy stuff.

He said he did it to clear his name. Who knows what was his true intention. Politically motivated? Definitely, but I think that's not all.

Some ulama said it was not SAH, some ulama said it was SAH. Different ulama has different opinions, only GOD decides whether the swear was SAH or not.

    Peace.
