Do u think there is an abuse of dowry laws in India, enumerated u/s 498A of Indian Penal Code?

AS AM IN THE PROFESSION OF ADVOCACY, I FIGHT CASES FROM BOTH THE SIDES, THE BOY AND THE GIRL. DO U THINK THERE IS AN ABUSE OF PROCESS OF LAW. ANSWER GOTTA BE FAIR WITHOUT PERSONAL BIAS

I live in Romania, and here there is a similar tradition. The bride gives to the groom what is called "zestre", which consist in money or household objects. I don't see any abuse in this tradition. Regarding the law, I'm not a professional, so I don't have any opinion.
