No for god's sake, you don't understand the judging process!!! If you're going to be really critical on the high bar, every single time Nastia upstarts to handstand, forward giants or pirouettes her legs separate - EVERY TIME - that's point one. And every time she swings down and straddle's to miss the bottom bar both of her knees bend - again point one. Although He caught dead, she rarely broke form, it just shows you how shapes, lines and absolute perfect form make such a difference - take the dismount, He took a step, but her legs were together and her toes were pointed, Nastias legs were very very cowboyed and her toes were flexed.

Also the tiebreaker has been in place since 1997 (with some revision after the new scoring system), and that's the RULES, the judges have to enforce the tiebreaker rule wether gymnastic ignorant people from the USA want to whine about it or not.

Nastia is a fantastic gymnast yes, and with the tiebreaker she got slightly more deductions in her high bar, complaining won't change it. You can't challenge a b judge score.

Hey B-Square, you must be Ray Charles himself if you did not see the chinese girl's perfect first attempt that scored her the highest score of all the vault jumpers that day.  Had she not messed up she would have nabbed the gold for sure.

Yes, I feel so bad for her. Watching her sitting there wondering why she was getting second. They deffintley robbed her. Even all the commentaors and others were so confused

omg yes!! they seriously got the same exact scores! and they say she made "more" mistakes! the chinnesse girl isnt even 16! shes 14! she should of been disqualified for every event! the only reason nastia didnt win is because there in china and the chinese are comunists and there huge cheaters!!

What you believe doesn't really matter because the judges follow a specific scoring system.  Unlike most of us armchair fans who only judge whether an athlete 1.) falls down, or 2.) takes a step on their landing.

Even Ray Charles can see the garbage that the "judges" are throwing up.  Remember the Chinese girl who landed on her knees in the vault but still won the bronze?  Some of the boxers filed protests for their matches as well.  I guess our next step is to let computers view the events and score what they feel is adequate!
