Do u think this is a good biz idea(home music lessons)?

I want to travel to peoples homes and teach piano lessons .

Please answer the following.

1. how long shoudl the lessons be

2 how much should i charge

3 is this a really good idea , postiives and negative sides?

lesson's lenght:

Summer: 2 hours each day

School year: 1 hour- 3 days a week for each student (but ou can teach different students everyday)

Pricing:

$20 per hour

or have packages eg: $500 for 30 hours

You should do half hour lessons for younger children, and an hour for more advanced.  Your rate should depend on where you live.... in a big city you can charge more... it will also depend on your education.  If you haven't gone to school for music you really have no right charging a lot... but if you have  a degree in music you can charge a lot more.  I wouldn't travel to peoples homes... you lose time and money from travelling... set up a studio in your home and have them come to you.
