  1. I think that the material of the dress is beautiful and it could be turned into a lovely dress by a good seamstress.

  2. It looks like a tablcloth or curtains or something.  I'm not sure I like it....

  3. if you like get it you will know if its the one for you when you put it on and you feel like you are a princesses

  4. truthfully?

    yes.

    sorry!

  5. Umm.. it is not ugly, but it's not my style. I think it would be perfect for someone over 40? But for younger brides I think the style is a little too old. Because if you're looking for traditional look there are many other dresses with sleeves too that are not as old-school looking. Try searching for dresses in brides.com, theknot.com, houseofbrides.com, and kleinfeldbridal.com

  6. It's not that bad - certainly not my taste; but if the bride feels beautiful then that is all that matters.

  7. Honestly i hate it and hate is a strong word but that's my opinion the dress just looks plain it really dont have no shape to it.

  8. No, the dress itself is fine - it just shouldn't have that crinoline or hoop or whatever it is under it. It would be nice just flowing down on its own.

  9. It's not a dress I would wear but, I don't think it's ungly.

  10. I think its okay, not really my style though.

  11. The material doesn't look very sophisticated and the dress isn't fitted very well to the bride.

  12. It looks very heavy...like its swallowing up the bride. I don't really like it to be honest. I agree that it could be made into a great dress by a very talented seamstress.

  13. is blah...its big, poofy, not flattering.

  14. The dress itself is pretty.  There's something not quite right about the crinoline.  Somehow the skirt shape is a bit off.

  15. its not  my style, but its a nice gown if you're going for a more conservative style.

  16. Not ugly but very dated and not stylish....I personally do not like it either, but there is a gown for every taste and maybe that was the girl's taste.

  17. Hi

I don't think it's ugly. However, I do totally agreed with the others that the dress looks dated and a little bit plain. Using polyester jacquard fabric for wedding dress is not the best idea as you will sweat buckets. Better use natural materials like silk mixed fabrics for the dress as they can 'breath'.

Alternatively, you can improving this dress by adding some nice accessories like blue ribbon tied at waist with lovely antique brooch.

    Good luck.

  18. It could have potential if the material wasn't so shiny and it was any shape other than a big bell, but yes, that dress as it is, is ugly.

All that matters, though, is that the bride felt beautiful.

  19. I think its pretty and modest but does not fit the bride's figure. It looks to big or the cut of the dress if offf..

  20. I don't think it's ugly, but a little too 1980's for my taste.

  21. I don't really like it. It looks dated and a little old ladyish

  22. Honesty, I don't like it and it makes the model look fat.  However, if it suites your style and looks wonderful on you then go for it.

I think this style of dress looks more stylish and more modern.

  23. I do not like it. There is no real shape to it and I do ot like the pattern on the dress. Sorry, just being honest!

  24. I think its ugly, but the girl is pretty.

  25. Hi.  You posted this yesterday and received lots of answers!

The dress is OK....but it is definitely dated.  If you were to "reuse" it, I would suggest going to a seamstress and having it cut down somewhat so that you don't need the big poofy crinoline underskirt to make the dress so poofy.  It could be resurrected into something nice if it was more a-line and not so poofy.....especially in the back.  A seamstress could also make it into a strapless gown.

  26. Its not ugly, but it is not something i would choose.

  27. I don't think it's ugly. Honestly!

It's just too modest for my liking, so I personally wouldn't wear it.....

    But it's quite pretty....

  28. i don't like it ... bad cut, bad material

  29. It looks a bit dated, the picture must have been taken in the early 90s or late 80s? It's a great dress for that timeframe and I actually like it but don't think it's as flattering as it could be to the girl in the picture.

  30. Do you like the dress? Does it fit your style??... Then thats all that matters!! If you love it, there you go!!
