Do u think watching tennis is boring?

just wondering cause i was wacthing a tennis match & thought it was BORING!

Absolutely not...I love tennis. Now golf on the other hand puts me to sleep...totally boring. Also whats the point of hitting the ball away from you and them going after it??? Exercises in futility as far as I'm concern. In tennis at lease someone returns the ball or try to return the ball...hehe.

actually going to a tennis tournament is exciting with the atmosphere and excitement it creates.

Watching it on TV can be boring, especially if both players play a similar style of game and don't take any chances.

I love playing and all, but hate watching tennis.  It's so silent and boring.  It reminds me of watching that 2D game called Pong.  Playing it is definitely fun though.

not at all. it's actually A LOT more interesting than watching an american football game. at least you need skill to play tennis.

no its not boring. it is good to watch their feet, technique, and watch all of their strokes. If you dont play tennis it might not be as amusing. It is a lot easier to follow and to enjoy if you play it or enjoy tennis. [:

It is sometimes boring, but it would be better if you were playing the sport then watching it.  If you watch 2 very good pros against each other the game would be real intense.  Watch mainly finals in tournaments.  That is where most games are best.

It depends on whether or not you play. I don't play, I don't watch it. I think it's boring, too. I also think GOLF is even more boring than watching tennis. But I don't golf, so there ya go.

Tennis matches are boring to me if there aren't any players that I'm a fan of or I at least have heard of. I actually play tennis and I watch pro tennis religiously, but only if there are people I know of or am a fan of.

NO. (Professional) Tennis is the the only sport i love to watch on TV particularly great players or my fave players matchups. Watching tennis is not just watching opponents smash the ball back-to-back, i also find it entertaining - it can make you thrill, laugh, and so many other reactions! Other sports make me feel really bored, i hope i could watch tennis everyday. =)

Everyone is entitled to an opinion.  I love playing tennis.  But before I played, I watched very little of it.  I never appreciated the strategic details, the power, and the art of tennis, until I learned more about it.  Some people think golf and baseball are boring too.  Some people think football and boxing are barbaric.  To consider something boring is understandable.   I'm sure if one of your friends were playing pro tennis, you would watch it, and enjoy it, because it becomes personal, and you have someone to root for.
