personnally i thnk he shud...this would be like wen de la hoya fought jc chavez sr....... wen jc chavez was well past his prime and de la hoya was young...dis wud be the other way around and margarito wud definitly murder de la hoya

I think it would be great, especially for the mexican fans. De La Hoya is also known for a having a pretty good chin, so i'd like to see this fight.

i agree he needs to pass the torch like jcc sr once did but this fight is far down a path for odlh apperantly he is offering pac man 10 million to fight him so i guess if all that folds in front of him then maybe we will see margo vs the golden boy

Well, actually it should be Antonio Margarito accepting Oscar's challenge. Margarito is now the most recognize champion at welterweight and if Oscar wants a real challenge and shot at the title, he should be asking Margarito for the challenge.

I think the only people that Margarito should have to call out are other title-holders in the division or those above the division.

Oh yeah! I think Oscar's gotten better with age! Yeah the body can take more punishment when we're younger but the skills I think getting better with older boxers. When he fought Mayweather his speed had gone a bit but he seemed more ruthless and better balanced. He's still in the top 10 in my opinion.
