  1. one skier, center

    2 skiers each side.

  2. You buy a tow rope the ties to each side of the boat with pulley like thing in the middle that the rope is attached to you throw this out over the motor.  With 2 skiers a tow rope on each side is the answer.

  3. centre either from a pole or a strop but deffinatly in the middle

one method of getting it round the out bourd is to have a strop spliced onto 2 eyes bolted to the back of you boat and tie the ski line to the strop. the strop and the ski line are both behind the outbourd.

  4. If you don't have a ski pole, what you want is a ski bridle. The ski bridle has loops at both ends for attaching to either side of the back of your boat  and a pulley that 'floats' in the middle of the v shape the rope makes. The single ski rope attaches to it. They go around the motor but you have to be careful when raising and lowering the motor that it doesn't get caught. They don't cost much and you can get them at your boat or waterski shop.

  5. Many boats have a through-bolted ski tow eye in the center of the boat transom. If you have an outboard, you can use a ski tow PYLON that will allow the tow rope to go above the engine. Some tow boats have a wakeboard arch with a hub mounted on top of it for towing a skier or wakeboarder to allow them to make jumps, hit rails, etc. Either way, a single skier is towed from the center.
