Do uou seriously have to pay monthly fees if you're using the converter box, the DTV Pal?

I heard that you had to pay like $5 every month to use the DTV Pal. Is that really true? Also, does the DTV Pal have the

Auto-SAP feature? Will the DTV Pal be sold in stores around the nation? If yes, when and where will it be sold?

There is no fee to use the DTV Pal. It is strictly for over-the-air (free) TV.

The box is being made by the Dish Network people. Try contacting one of their offices for info.
