  1. First of all, what is an "international" passport? If you're talking about a re-entry permit, and unless things have changed, the French wont like that. You need a passport of your country of nationality.Whether you need a visa depends on what nationality you are. Many are excempt so you only have to show your passport. Find out for sure.

    If you do need a visa for France, you can actually apply for a "Schengen"  tourist visa which will let you travel between 15 European countries who share in the open-border agreement.

    If you are indeed stateless and all you have is the U.S. re-entry permit, contact the closest French Embassy or Consulate and ask for the latest information on this.

    Their site is confusing so you might do better by email or phone;

    Good luck!

  2. Your requirements for entry to France will be based on your country of citizenship, not on your residency status in the US.  If your country requires a visa, you will need the appropriate visa for your country.  Since you don't state what country you come from, it is impossible to answer this question.

    Your return to the US will, however be affected by your possession of a green card.

  3. no, that's only if you're planning on living there for an extended period of time, if you're just visiting you're fine
