Do use freecycle & think some of the rules are a little strict?

I live in London so have joined a few local groups, on a couple of occasions I have had more than one of something to get rid of so post on 2 different local groups - one group always gives me a 'crossposting strike' I always reply explaining I have 2 items to give.

I think this is a bit odd given what freecycle is for don't you? Other than that I love it, I may just not use that group since their moderators seem so mean spirited.

I've been told off for offering to swap my fridge freezer for two seperate bits to go under the counter! Apparently swapping isn't allowed either!!

I do think it's a bit harsh, it's such a great idea and yet you can be told off for trying to help!

They have tightened up because people were getting stupid and asking for things like ...wanted harley davidson motorbike ..must be top of the range

Yes I use it and find no problems.
