vegans on the other hand generally don't because its an animal product, and sheep are sometimes hurt in the shearing process, and then just shipped to the slaughterhouse.

Pretty much all vegetarians do, but more than a few vegans decide they will wear NO animal-based cloths. Usually the same ones who panic over milk solids in breads, and other trifling indiscretions. Course there's also the vegans who wear dead-cow leather, so what can I say but to go by your on sense of ethics as well as your tolerance level for personal hypocrisy.

You can be vegetarian and wear wool, but if you are vegetarian for ethical reasons, it's better to go for the humane alternatives to wool -- cotton, cotton flannel, polyester fleece, synthetic shearling, etc.

Yes. The sheep are not harmed when the wool is removed.

Actually removing the wool keeps the sheep cool (and making clothes from wool keeps us warm when it is cold).

Whether they wear them or not will depend on the individual.Some willl wear them and some won't."Vegetarian" refers to diet only. A vegan will definitelyy not wear wool though because it goes beyond diet.
