Do water polo players wear two pairs of trunks, and if so, why?

I would'nt of thought so ... depends I guess if you play in a Team or for fun, otherwise any trunks will pass  ... 1 or 2.

Two suits are worn in case one suit is torn, ripped, or pulled off. It is normal and part of the game for players to vigorously pull on suits, caps, dunk people in the water, or tackle them. It's such a rough sport, but it's a lot of fun.

save their modesty if one slips off, would be more interesting if they went in the buff ,attract a lot more viewers

Underwater, players can punch, kick, scratch (anything can happen as long as the ref doesn't see).  Wearing two is just in case one rips.  Goalies however don't have much problem.

well i know girls do.. i think guys do to.. cause they get pulled down, or even off. haha so funny when it happens.

suits are grabbed, ripped torn, and pulled. so is hair, caps, and limbs...its a rough sport, esp girls water polo very vicious...i would know
