  1. No.  All things belong to God.

  2. Yes, absolutely!  We own the key to unlocking our own heart and soul.  The key to our true self in this world.  The real beauty is how we are the only ones with that key. There is only one key, no spares that can be hidden away in case the primary gets lost.  And with this one key, we have to take advantage of the pure treasure inside that only we have access to open up and share with the world.

  3. No. I believe we own nothing. Everything in this life is God's. Family, friends, even our love, soul n life. He created us n wrote our life story. He gave n took everything, whatever it is, whenever, wherever, from whomever, at His will. So, we never truly own anything!

  4. You will always own your thoughts.

  5. We are just guardians of everything, including our bodies.

We came naked and shall go the same way. The death shroud does not have pockets.

  6. It really depends on your definition of the word "own." You could say though that there is nothing that can't be taken away.

  7. No. Everything owns us.

  8. I too had grown to believe that one owns nothing, because one had matured beyond the need to own anything, outgrown materialism that is. But when you work with the disempowered, the disenfranchised and the deprived, who have no sense of control of their own lives, you learn the worth of ownership. Of owning yourself. Your integrity. Your thoughts. Your aspirations. Your life. That's when I realised how much we (who have everything going for us) take for granted.

  9. Only your character as it stays with you no matter how deep they bury you

  10. Aside from your soul, you will never truly own anything that will matter. You came with nothing, so shall you depart. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust.

  11. Nope.  Property is an illusion.

  12. yes and no and maybe so.

it is all in the mind.

  13. Nope. Nothing we have is truly ours...because eventually it all goes away.

  14. Legally yes.  Otherwise, not really.  Like children--they are on loan for parents to care for and raise for a brief time.
