Do we get charge for using Yahoo Messenger/chatting on our cellphone?

I called my cell carrier, they said the "mobile messenger" did charge me, not my cell carrier. Anybody knows about this matter?

  3. yes u r charded for chatting on cellphone.

  4. when u send message thru messenger nope but wen u reply thruur cellphone yes.....for every reply u will be charged
