Do we get electrocuted if we touch a victim that has been electrocuted?

I want to know that electric current can go to one body to another.

  1. That has been is past tense. That should mean that electricution is finished; no more electricity flowing through the body of the victim and therefore no more electric current that can flow through another that might come in contact. Inversely, if there is still current flowing, that current can also flow through the body of others who comes in contact specially if he is also in contact with ground because the power system is usually grounded.


  2. wen the person s still touching the live wire and if we are in a position that acts as a ground for the flow of electricity (like standing on bare legs,leaning against a metal pillar,etc), then there is a definite possibility that v'll get electrocuted.

    But if the person has lost contact with the live source, there is no harm in touching the person.

  3. Not unless the victim is still conducting the current and you would be able to tell instantly if he or she is.

  4. You will only be electrocuted if the victim still has electricity surging through his/her body. If the victim is not in contact with the electricity source he/she no longer harbors electricity and therefore you cant sustain injury by touching him/her.
