  1. 4.0 is the highest you can possibly get.  Even if you are getting more than a 100 % in a class from extra credit or watev.

Edit: jeez.  my school seems like the only one in the states that doesn't offer something like AP classes.  They're overfunded too!  just not many students...

  2. the only way to get over a 4.0 is by taking AP classes... they are worth more and can bring up your GPA.... but in order to get over the 4.0 you have to ace every single class while in high school.... its tough but if you put your mind to it and work hard you can do it!!!

  3. ahahahahahahahahaha GAP

  4. dayamm girl, don't listen to them hoes. I be in full honors, and if I get A's, I can get like a 4.5 HOLLA! but seriously homegirl, some schools weight differently, ya'll hear? fo' sho', an example is an A in an honors class can count as a 5 to your gpa, ya'll hear>? they be weighted +1 in some schools. HOLLA!

  5. You mean GPA?  Grade Point Average?

Taking accelerated classes (AP - Advanced Placement) in high school will weight out an entire point higher i.e. A = 5.0, B = 4.0, etc.

You can also use this classes as college credit IF you pass the exam with marks high enough to be accepted at the college to which you are applying.

More info on this at www.collegeboard.com

    Good luck!

  6. i think you can get a GAP above 4.0..i think its like 4.4 or 4.5..you need to be in all AP classes cause that's what gives you like a "boost" but you need to be also a straight a student.

  7. GAP? u mean GPA?

  8. I don't think so...  And if there is, I REALLY WANT TO WORK TOWARDS IT!!!
