I think so, every paper and news station is owned by some huge corporation. In reality they can decide what we hear and see. Except for a small amount of things on the internet.

  2. That raises an interesting issue. You are right in the sense that the major television networks and some of the newspapers are owned by large corporations. They have to be large -- you can't be small and own CBS -- it's a huge financial investment.

    But -- that in itself is not necesssarily bad. If one company owned all of the outlets, it would be one thing. But not even Rupert Murdoch owns everything (although he's got a pretty good share).
