  1. the h**l with happiness

  2. no....but satan is good at ruining things for ppl..

  3. No i dont think we do..... I think its a matter of free will. If I am under a sacred duty to be happy I am in deep trouble.......

  4. God never said that our life would be easy or happy.

He did say that when the hard times come that is our chance to trust Him ( show faith)  and remember that" all things work together for good for those who love the Lord".  You might not see how that trouble worked together for good for many years but believeit, it did.

  5. What a curious question. It's delightful that you ask it, though.

Actually, I have a sacred duty to myself to have the gnosis of being one with the universe, which is certainly an exalted type of happiness.

But I doubt most people feel they have the same calling.

    'Gnosis' is intuitive knowledge.

I like what Joseph Campbell said, "Follow your bliss." It's not a 'duty' per se, but it's the wise thing to do with your life.

  6. No.

Happiness can't be forced, just like love can't be forced.

  7. Yes, even if I have to climb over a pile of dead bodies to get there...

(No, in other words.  There are things that rate higher than my personal happiness)

  8. More of a personal one.

  9. There is no sacred duty to be happy.

The Holy Spirit can give peace and joy when adversity hits.

  10. "Happiness comes from knowledge, from understanding the will of God and obeying.

Happiness is an option open to us and we take it or not as we will."

    Meister Eckhart

    God love you!
